SLEEPING BEAUTY TURQUOISE:

Made with THE most drop dead gorgeous blue that only the now closed, Sleeping Beauty mine can produce..The mine has now been closed for roughly 5 years & since closing ,has only made that many more buyers thirsty for anything that is made with this ultra blue turquoise. Unfortunately the higher qualities are now scarce & many of the lower qualities are too soft & chalky, that they need stabilization in order to give it some hardness so it can be cut. This is made with top notch, natural ‘harder’ Sleeping Beauty turquoise that didn’t need stabilization.

THE CUFF:

The cuff is designed in a skinny row style that's made with 24 evenly sized square 'tile' cuts that follow just short of the length’s entirety of the 3/8" width and length of the shank. One of the main things you should know & definitely deserves appreciation, is for the skilled lapidary work that it took to make it.

All the turquoise in this was literally cut and shaped one by one from the larger rock of turquoise & then cut into small squares.. Yes, it would be fast & simple to take the easy route out & buy 'pre-cut'- industry purchased' cuts from a stone vendor, but that actually takes away the beauty of it having it's "Artisan-Hand Made" factor. With this cuff, the lapidarian's time was well spent making sure each stone is mathematically the same size, has the same beveling,etc.,which gives it, it's uniform appeal.

Because of the design, this cannot be adjusted, so it's of extreme importance that you know your wrist size and what gap opening you need for it to comfortably fit over the arm. This has a XXXL interior measurement, (6-3/4” without gap) so it was made for someone who has an extremely wide wrist , but for someone whose wrist is not meaty/fleshy since it only has a 1” gap opening. If you are unsure of your wrist size,I suggest you cread below on "How To Fit A Cuff" and also I suggest you copy/paste the YouTube link I have there, that shows the right way, you should put a cuff on! If you are not sure of your size, please go over this before purchasing & or contact me.
