Impressively made & equally beautiful in design, this necklace comes with having a very contemporary edginess that consists of 18 panels that line the inner portion of the necklace & has 12 larger amethyst droplets for visual effect. It's these droplets that raise the bar & takes the necklace up a few notches! While the small round cuts of Amethyst are a beautiful purple, the oval cuts in the droplets are extremely saturated and dark and appear almost black when they're laid flat against something, regardless of having their backside cut out for maximum lighting to come in!! (See last photo) The oval cuts of Amethyst in the drops have a nice domed shape & are bezel set on a wide sterling platform that follows the amethyst's oval shape.
Although Federico is known throughout the southwest, this is a necklace that can be worn in OR out of the southwest, due to it's contemporary-mirror polished finished sterling! It's a necklace that's not so over the top in size, so it can easily look as attractive to wear to your day gig,as it will be for an elegant evening out! Try pairing this with other amethyst pieces & or, all sterling!
