A PERSONAL WORD:

Federico is about the only designer in the business whose not afraid to push the boundaries & has somewhat  of a ‘fearless’ sort of sense when designing.. Known for his extremely large, over the top jewelry , this is a designer who's all about head turning designs that can go from having a serious sophisticated/elegant Santa Fe'an vibe to a more southwestern traditional look.(this pendant is the latter.)

THE PENDANT:

Dictating the pendants massive 5-5/8” x 3-1/2” colossal size, is the mammoth size cut of Kingman that also dictates the pendants shape. This cut is unbelievably monstrous in size (3-1/2” x 2-3/8”!!!) & has a vast amount of carat weight to it!

Acting as a halo cluster, are evenly size, oval cuts of turquoise that come from various mines & it’s these, that give the pendant a bit of contrast. Acting as a ‘crown’ are generous sized cuts of orange spiny oyster that add an authentic Santa Fe feel.

THE SHEPHERDS HOOK CONNECTION:

This will hook onto your favorite sterling bead necklace & comes with a shepherds hook that can be opened more so it can accommodate a larger size bead if you need. (If you don't work with metal, a reputable jeweler can easily open the hook up more with a pair of needle nose pliers) I do want to mention that this has just over a 5 ounce weight, so whatever you put it on, has to be strong to accommodate it's generous weight. To be in balance, this size will look best with a chunkier bead size, but is not limited to. But most importantly, what ever you put it on, should be long! This size pendant will look great on at least a 26” long necklace to 30”, since you want to pull this size pendant down away from the neckline.( It is shown with a 9 mm -30” long necklace)

*****I do not consider myself a 'professional photographer" but I do try to give you photos that are 'realistic" in color, so you're not shocked, nor disappointed when you get the piece. I do however find that photographing anything with 'yellow' in it, (green & orange) a little harder to photograph, since this color can come up much more vivid than other colors. Remember, every monitor is different ,so while some can show something to be more vivid ,other monitors can make it look duller.
