THE RING:

This ring reaps of nothing less than pure southwestern elegance & especially when you pair the beauty of pearls with some dynamite & gorgeous color blue turquoise! And personally, nothing spells out "Santa Fe Chic" like these 2 materials do! The ring has a fresh & clean vibe, along with a very contemporary edginess!

Though the small funky shaped baroque pearls have much to contribute to the overall design, it's the quality of the turquoise here that really speaks volumes! This cut is not your everyday cut of turquoise, but rather has a quality that you just can't get, without paying top dollar per carat.. This top notch cut of Kingman came from Larry Cooley's turquoise collection & for those that follow me, have heard his name by now, since I carry (and have carried) many Federico pieces that have turquoise from Larry's collection. One thing you can't see from the photos, is the 'glassy, spit shine' finishing this cut has. This glossy luster is what actually validates not only the 'quality', but how "Hard" the turquoise is.. What you want to keep in mind is, the harder the turquoise, the higher the quality. "Chalky" soft low grade turquoise just doesn’t give the lapidarian this type of luster when they go to cut & polish, plus the stone will immediately break from being too soft & will need to be stabilized in order to cut it. So premium turquoise is determined by the hardness, luster and the color of the stone & doesn't need stabilization in order to be cut. And lastly, when the turquoise 'is harder', you won't find color change since they are less porous.

THE ADJUSTABLE BYPASS SHANK:

This is presently set at a size 8.5.. If you look at the backside last photo, you will see how the bypass is tightly closed, so to go down in size would throw how the shank sits and would overlap. So I would not recommend going down, but if you do need a larger size, this will only "Go Up" in size. If you do need to go up in size, these can go up no more than say 1 to 1-1/2 sizes from it's presently set size.(I can do this for you!)
